THE CREATIVE
PROCESS |
|
|
The creative process begins the
moment you call the office. As we get to know you and understand
your needs, we develop a sense of your personal style and
priorities. Then the following process continues.
|
|
| CONSULTATION: |
|
|
We set an appointment at your
convenience for a complimentary initial site visit with one
of our landscape designers.
This 1 to 1.5 hour initial consultation is an opportunity
for us to get to know each other to make sure we are comfortable
doing business together. We show you our portfolio, discuss
plant choices and ideas, and share client references.

DESIGN PLAN
PROCESS: |
|
|
After a look around your property,
we have a sense of the scope of the work, your expectations
and our challenges. The process may involve a detailed written
description of work, or a hand-rendered “bird’s
eye view” of your yard drawn to scale with our planting
plan created just for you.
At this point we know your favorite colors, your special keepsakes,
what you like to do in your yard, your pet’s special
behaviors, your children’s play patterns, and your dreams
for the futureand then we go to work. This is when we
match the plants to the place to create the setting you want
to surround yourself withperhaps a landscape with everything
in its place to assure a sense of control in your world or
a more relaxed, diverse garden scheme which invites birds
and butterflies to your backdoor to connect you to nature.
During the design process you may be invited to our office
to review your plan. We’ll tour you through our demonstration
garden and nursery so you can see many of your plant selections
first hand. |
|
| MASTER PLAN: |
|
|
For large projects, we provide a Master Design
Plan with constrution details. Then we set a fee and a timetable
for your landscape design plan.
|
|
| DESIGN APPROVAL: |
|
|
As part of the design approval meeting, we review your costs
for installation of the landscape in a detailed “line-item”
estimate. With your acceptance and deposit, we schedule your
project. |

OUR PROJECT
MANAGEMENT
SERVICES |
|
|
Your Landscape Designer will see
your project through from start to finish. A Project Manager
will be assigned to instruct the Job Foreman. This on-site
supervision assures that every nuance of the landscape plan
comes to life and the design vision is not lost in translation.
We also coordinate with your choice of irrigation/drainage contractors, fence contractors and others involved in the building process to assure the efficiency of the job and save you money.
